Looking for powerful prayers for the teens in your life? Let’s face it–the teen years are challenging. The transition from childhood to adulthood has many bumps along the way. Not only are our teens trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in, the social pressures around them through social media presents its own set of challenges that can result in anxiety, depression, unhealthy behaviors and cyber bullying (source).
This world is truly a battlefield–and it is essential that we as parents do our best to prepare our teens for the obstacles that they will inevitably face. Parenting teens can seem like a daunting task in this strange and dark world we live in–but we can courageously pray for our teens and continuously point them to the cross of Christ. This world may be a battleground, but we have the greatest offensive weapon on our side–the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17).
Here are 25 prayers for teens that we can pray each day as our loved ones enter the battlefield each day. Join me in using God’s Word to pray powerful prayers for our teenagers, and you can download and print FREE prayer printables at the end of the post!

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalm 119:9

14. Prayers for their Future Spouse
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:24-27
Lord, I pray for my teen’s future spouse. I ask that their relationship will honor You and become a beacon of hope and strength to those around them.
