One Bible verse that gives me peace comes from John 16:33. In John chapter 16, Jesus prepared his disciples for the difficulties that were to come when he would later be crucified. The disciples did not yet understand all the things Jesus spoke about, but he reassured them that they could still have joy and peace, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
We can also take comfort in the wonderful truth that Jesus has already overcome the world, and he is able to give us peace through the Holy Spirit.
