Three Ways to use Coloring Pages in Bible Journaling
1. Use Coloring Pages to Meditate on Scripture
Find coloring sheets with Scripture that you can color. As you color the verses, you are hiding God’s Word in your heart in a creative way!
The coloring page in this post features the verse “with God all things are possible” from Matthew 19:26.
After the rich young ruler walked away from Jesus because of his great wealth, the disciples began to wonder how anyone could enter God’s kingdom.
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
Praise God that all things are possible through Christ! Use coloring sheets with Scripture and meditate on God’s Word as you color.
Here is a stunning Scripture coloring book filled with powerful verses from God’s Word to color!
2. Use Coloring Pages to Visualize God’s Word
If you are artistic and enjoy doodling, one of the best ways to understand God’s Word more deeply is to draw pictures of the Scripture passages you are studying. Your drawings do not have to be elaborate (mine are more like stick figures!)
Coloring pages are great because you can use drawings from your coloring pages to visualize Scripture in ways that help you understand God’s Word.
2. Turn Coloring Pages into Stickers
If you find printable coloring pages online, you can print them on 8.5×11″ sticker paper and color your own stickers! After you have colored your stickers, you can cut them out and place them in your journaling Bible, prayer journal or planner!
